Going unprepared to a Texas driver licensing office for your written test can cost you time, money and unneeded stress. You can avoid all of that by simply being prepared, and this book is designed to help you accomplish that. This book is filled with hundreds of questions, answers and sample tests you can use to hone your knowledge and pass the written test on you first try.
We’ve broken this book into 4 sections to best prepare students for the test.
Part I is the introduction. Here we outline the book and provide a set of helpful tips about successful test-taking, geared specifically toward the Texas written driver test. We have also included links to important online resources where students will find additional information regarding the Texas Department of Public Safety and the driver license application process.
Part II is all about road signs. It contains 100 questions and answers about various traffic signs along with full-color illustrations and explanations for each correct answer. For those using black and white E-book readers, a color key accompanies each illustration.
Part III focuses on rules of the road. There are 100 questions covering information from every section in the Texas Driver’s Handbook, along with answers and explanations for each.
Part IV contains the sample tests. We have created 5 tests with 30 questions each to help students practice for the real exam and evaluate their overall understanding of the Texas Driver’s Handbook. By taking these tests students can better understand their strengths, weaknesses, and when they should take the written test.
